LiveStories Finds $3M For Data Visualization Tools

Seattle-based LiveStories, a developer of data visualization software used by government and nonprofits to present data to the public, has raised $3M in a seed funding, the company said on Thursday. The funding came from True Ventures, Founders' Co-op, Social Leverage, Urban.us, and the Knight Foundation, along with angels. The startup--which came out of Techstars Seattle--is led by Adnan Mahmud. The company says its clients currently include such clients as the City of New Orleans, The City of Melbourne, California Health Care Foundation, and San Diego County. More information »
