Livible Buys Fetch Storage For East Coast Expansion

Seattle-based Livible, the on-demand, self storage startup led by Terry Drayton, has acquired Boston-based Fetch Storage. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Fetch, which was founded in 2010, provides full service storage in the Greater Boston Market. Livible said it has hired all of Fetch Storage's full time employees. Livible said it had planned on making Boston its "East Coast" beachhead, and the acquisition will help it with those expansion plans. Livible is aiming at urban residents, especially millennials, Gen-Xers and downsizing baby boomers living in apartments, as well as college students, with its self storage service. The company takes pictures of what is being stored in boxes, and picks up boxes from its customers at their door.
