    Lockdown Upgrades NAC Suite

Seattle-based Lockdown Networks has upgraded the firm's endpoint security software, saying today that its new 4.5 NAC product suite adds new support for SSL and IPSec VPN users along with other features. The company has updated its Lockdown Commander appliance, and now supports LAN, WLAN, WAN and client VPN modes of access. Lockdown develops a network access control (NAC) software suite that uses security policies to control what servers, PCs, and other devices can communicate on a corporate network. The new software rolls out in October. The company is backed by Intel Capital.
