Lockerz Cuts Staff, Offices

Seattle-based social marketing firm Lockerz is shutting down its office in San Diego, and has laid off around 30 percent of its Seattle staff, according to the firm. According to the company, the move came to "realigning our organizational structure to best fit the needs of our product and business". The company is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, Live Nation and Liberty Media, and has raised over $45M in funding. The layoffs were first reported by TechCrunch
