Lockerz Launches New Web Series

Seattle-based Lockerz, the social shopping and commerce site backed by Liberty Media Corporation and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, said Tuesday that it has launched a new, original content series called "Marcy". The series is its third, original content series for the firm, which said it is following the new trend in entertainment of creating your own digital series. The new series includes eight episodes, running four to six minutes each. Lockerz said it will offer up discounts to products as a reward to users to watch the series. The company's service reward users for interacting with videos, listening to music, and sharing information with friends, allowing them to redeem discounts on fashion, electronics, and music. The firm was founded by Kathy Savitt.
