LumaTax Raises $2M For Small Business Tax Reporting

Seattle-based LumaTax, a spinout of Pioneer Square Labs, has raised $2M in a funding round, the company said today. The funding came from Madrona Venture Group, Greycroft Partners, and angels. LumaTx, led by Robert Shulte, develops small business sales tax filing software, which it will initially focus on small businesses in California. Schulte was previously the founder of sales tax software provider Taxient. More information »
