Maana Raises $11M For Big Data Search Engine Tools

Maana, a startup developing big data search engine tools which has and office in Bellevue, said Wednesday that it has raised $14M in funding for its efforts, from Chevron Technology Ventures, ConocoPhillips Technology Ventures, Frost Data Capital, GE Ventures, and Intel Capital. The company said it ha developed a search and discovery platform aimed at businesses, which combine log and event data, Hadoop, data wareouse data, documents, and more, making it available to the enterprise.
