Madrona Backs Eventbase For Event Discovery App

Seattle-based venture investor Madrona Venture Group has turned its sights North, and has backed Canadian startup Eventbase in a $6M funding round. Eventbase, which is based in Vancouver, Canada, develops mobile apps for events. The company's apps have been used for the 2010 Winter Olympics and South by Southwest (SXSW). Eventbase is led by Jeff Sinclair.
