Marchex, Cobalt Tie On Auto Marketing

Seattle-based Marchex said today that it has signed a new deal with Seattle-based The Cobalt Group, to provide call tracking and pay-per-phone call services to Cobalt's local auto dealers. Cobalt provides marketing services for automotive dealerships in the United States. Financial terms of the deal was not disclosed. Marchex tracks which advertisement or web site leads to automotive dealers come from, along with providing other pertinent information for automotive dealers to track. Marchex also said that Cobalt is using the firm to place pay-per-phone-call advertisements for local dealerships. Marchex entered the pay-per-call technology area last year, when it purchased from VoiceStar in August.
