Mashape Gets Funding From Bezos, Ignition

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com, and Seattle-based investor Ignition Partners have both invested in an online service which connects developers with application programming interfaces (APIs). According to Mashape, it has just landed $1.5M in seed funding, from New Enterprise Associates, Index Ventures, Charles River Ventures, Ignition Partners, Jeff Bezos, Eric Schmidt, Erik Rannala, Russel Siegelman, and Rick Webb, among others.
