MathStar Hires Sales VP

Hillsboro, Oregon-based MathStar Inc., a semiconductor firm which develops programmable logic chips reported Wednesday that it has hired Russell Corvese as its vice president of worldwide sales. Corvese hails from Fairchild Semiconductor, where he served as senior director of Americas field marketing. Before that, Corvese held a variety of sales management roles for Actel, a programmable logic company, MathStar said, adding that Corvese spent 10 years with Actel.
