Maveron Names Venture Partner

Seattle-based venture capital firm Maveron is bolstering its San Francisco presence today, saying that it has named David Wu as a Venture Partner in its San Francisco office. Wu is an angel investors and entrepreneur. Maveron said that Wu will identify emerging consumer Internet companies for the firm in San Francisco. Wu's investments include Practice Fusion, Sociable Labs, Postmates, Beautylish, and Taulia, and he is also on the deal screening committee for angel group the Band of Angels, in addition to previously serving as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Redpoint Ventures.
