Mebik.org Takes On Healthcare Prices

Seattle-based Mebik.org, a new, online resource focused on medical costs, said today that it has launched a new site which translates medical terms and codes into common language, and also helps people find local medical cost information. The firm--which said it was incubated by Voyager Capital--says its hopes to help users make better information healthcare cost decisions. The site currently helps users translate dental price information, in addition to directing users to local dental service providers. The site says it will be adding information on vision, chiropractic treatment, family medicine, radiology, laboratory test and other costs over the next few months.
