Medio, China's mInfo to Develop Mobile Platform

Seattle-based Medio Systems, a provider of mobile search and mobile advertising services, revealed Tuesday that it has formed a long-term strategic partnership with Chinese mobile search specialist mInfo Inc. Medio said the two companies will work together to develop a flexible mobile search, advertising and content delivery platform for the Chinese market, which consists of more than 520 million wireless subscribers and is the world’s fastest-growing mobile market. Medio said the deal represents an opportunity for it to expand its focus beyond North America and Europe, where it provides content recommendations and search advertising services for mobile operators such as Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Telus Mobility.
