Mentor Graphics Deploys At ON Semi, Faraday Technology

Wilsonville, Oregon-based EDA software provider Mentor Graphics has deployed its Calibre PERC tool at two customers, the firm announced this morning. The firm said its PERC (programmable electrical rule checker) software is being used by both ON Semiconductor and Faraday Technology, to help improve reliability of their products and help those firms identify areas which might be vulnerable to electrical failure due to static discharge (ESD). Financial detials of the wins were not disclosed.
