Mentor Tools Used By SilabTech

Wilsonville, Oregon-based electronic design automation (EDA) software developer Mentor said today that its tools have been used by semiconductor developer SilabTech Pvt. Ltd., as part of a successful 28nm IC. Mentor Graphics said its software was used for SilabTech's 28nm high-speed, mixed-signal PHY IPs for PCI Express, SATA, MIPI, M-PHY and USB 3.0. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. SilabTech recently had a successful milestone in its development efforts.
