Mercent Acquired By CommerceHub

Seattle-based Mercent, which develops cloud-based software to help market e-commerce catalogs across the web, has been acquired by CommerceHub. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. CommerceHub helps retailers distribute their products to online shopping channels, via paid search, marketplace listings, product ads, and much more. Mercent's founder and CEO, ERic Best, becomes Chief Marketing Officer at CommerceHub. Mercent was backed by Madrona Venture Group, The Hillman Company, and TVC Capital.
