    MetroFi Expands Portland Coverage


    MetroFi, a provider of muni wireless (WiFi) Internet service, said today that it has expanded its coverage in Portland, Oregon, as part of the firm's second phase of coverage. MetroFi said that it will add Pearl, Old Town, Portland State University's surrounding areas, Hosford-Abernethy, Richmond and Sunnyside, to its coverage areas over the next four months. MetroFi is in midst of a deployment which is expected to cover 95 percent of the city by mid-2008.
