    Micro Power Gets Design Win With VIASYS Healthcare


    Beaverton, Oregon-based Micro Power, a manufacturer of portable power systems for medical and other equipment, said this week that it has designed and manufactured a Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery pack and charger system for VIASYS Healthcare, a manufacturer of ventilators for the medical market. Micro Power said that the power subsystem occupies less space than previous batteries for the system, and increases runtime of the system by 50%. Micro Power focuses its power system designs on the portable medical devices market.
