    Microsoft, EDGAR Online In Advertising Deal


    Microsoft and online information provider EDGAR Online Inc. said Wednesday afternoon that the two companies are in an advertising and content deal. According to the two, the strategic alliance calls for Microsoft to be the exclusive provider of display, contextual, and video advertising for EDGAR Online, and EDGAR will provide Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing documents to MSN Money. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. EDGAR Online operates a service for accessing SEC filings.
