Microsoft, Amazon High On Brand Worth

A new report released this week on the worth of consumer brands, has ranked Microsoft and Amazon among the top brands in the world. According to the BrandZ Top 100 ranking from Millward Brown Optimor, Bellevue-based Microsoft was number 4 in the world in terms of brand worth, at an estimated $76.3 billion in brand value. Amazon.com also ranked highly, at number 15, worth $27.4 billion in brand value. Top on the list of brands was Google, with an estimated $114.2 billion in brand value, followed by IBM, with $86.38 billion, and Apple, at $83.15 billion.
