Microsoft Buys Canesta

Microsoft has acquired Sunnyvale, California-based Canesta, a maker of CMOS 3-D sensors, Canesta said late Friday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Canesta said that Microsoft is buying its products, technology, intellectual property, customer contracts, and other resources.
