Microsoft Buys Game Studio Twisted Pixel Games

Microsoft has acquired a new game studio, Twisted Pixel Games, a developer of Xbox 360 titles based in Austin, Texas, the firms said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Twisted Pixel Games is the developer of the Splosion Man and The Gunstringer game titles for Xbox LIVE and Kinect for Xbox 360. Microsoft said the new studio will help to incubate and develop the future of games and entertainment on the Xbox 360.
