    Microsoft Buys Kidaro


    Redmond-based Microsoft said Wednesday afternoon that it is acquiring Kidaro, a provider of desktop virtualization software for the enterprise. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Microsoft said it will combine Kidaor's virtualization technology with its suite of desktop management tools. The tools will be avilable as the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack for Software Assurance. Kidaro's software is used to deploy virtual PCs to Windows desktops.
