![]() Wednesday, June 18, 2008 Microsoft Buys Navic NetworksMicrosoft Corp. said today that it has acquired Navic Networks, a provider of technology for the television advertising area. Financial details of the acquisition were not released. Navic develops tools used to manage television advertising campaigns and optimize placement of those ads. Microsoft said the acquisition would help its advertisers increase their reach and ROI, and maximize yield on television advertising. Navic Networks becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft, part of its Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group. Navic was headquartered in Waltham, Mass. posted on Wednesday, June 18, 2008
