    Microsoft Buys Tellme Networks


    Redmond, washington-based Microsoft said today it is acquiring Tellme Networks, a California-based firm that provides 411 and other voice directory services. Financial terms were not disclosed, however widespread coverage places the deal around $800M. Microsoft said that Tellme will operate as a part of its Microsoft Business Division.
