    Microsoft Revives SideWinder

Microsoft said today that it has revived its SideWinder gaming peripheral line, with a plan to launch a new mouse targeted at computer gamers in the fall. Microsoft, which had discontinued the SideWinder brand four years ago, said at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany that it will provide a computer mouse with custom tuning tools and features for online gaming. Among features of the new mouse are customizable weights to change the weight of the mouse; built-in-macros for changing game views; and interchangable feet to change how the mouse glides. The firm's SideWinder brand was first started in 1995.
