Microsoft Sells Off Mediaroom To Ericsson

Microsoft has sold off its IPTV business, Mediaroom, to Ericsson, Ericsson said today, confirming a rumor of the sale from two weeks ago. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed. Mediaroom was based in Mountain View, California, and had more than 400 employees. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2013.
