Microsoft Targets Google Health Users

Redmond-based Microsoft Corp. is looking to siphon off users of Google Health, saying today that it will make it easy for users to migrate their health data from Google Health to Microsoft's own HealthVault service. Google said in June that it will be shutting down Google Health, a health records tracking service, as of January 1, 2012. Microsoft said it has tapped standard protocols developed by the Office of the National coordinator for Health IT to simplify transfer of health data from the Google service.
