Redmond, Washington-based Microvision, a developer of miniature projection display technology, said Thursday that it has been awarded a $750,000 contract. According to the firm, the contract covering initial engineering tasks and development support for a high definition, full-color, see-through eyewear display. Name of the customer was not disclosed. Microvision said the display will be based on its PicoP display engine technology.
