Mighty AI Raises $14M For Machine Learning

Seattle-based Spare5, which had been operating a service to let users perform "microtasks" for others and earn money in their spare time, said on Tuesday that it has become Mighty AI--relaunching the company and focusing on tools, data, and services around artificial intelligence. According to MightyAI, as part of the relaunch, it has raised $14M in new funding, which was led by Intel Capital, and also included Accenture Ventures, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Foundry Group, Madrona Venture Group, and New Enterprise Associates. The startup is now offering up data sets and other tools to help develop computer vision and natural language software. More information »
