    MiraLink Ships Storage Appliance


    Portland, Oregon-based MiraLink said Monday that it has begun shipping a new disaster recovery appliance for the storage market. The firm said that its MiraLink 500f device is designed for small and medium businesses, and provides disaster recovery for Fibre Channel storage area networks. The firm's new device run as appliances which provide remote data mirroring across storage sites; companies use the products to mirror and replicate their data across data centers. The firm said the appliance starts at $12,499 for a pair of appliances.
