Mixpo Nets $4M In Series B Funding

Seattle-based online video advertising software maker Mixpo is announcing today that it has raised a second round of venture financing worth $4 million. The round is being led by Madrona Venture Group, an existing investor. Series A backer Yaletown Venture Partners and first-time contributor Growthworks Capital Ltd. are also participating in the follow-on funding. Mixpo is using the Series B money to help accelerate growth and improve its product offering. Founded in 2005, Mixpo has now raised $10.5 million in venture financing. Its other backers include the Working Opportunity Fund, SpringBank TechVentures and private investors. Mixpo's flagship product, the VideoAd platform, helps advertisers upload photos, videos, music, and other items to create and run their own video advertising. More information »
