Portland, Oregon-based Attensa has released a new version of the firm's enterprise-targeted RSS reader for Microsoft Outlook, and made avaiability of the software free. Attensa posted the new software quietly last Wednesday, saying that the new software adds synchronization with the firm's AJAX web reader and mobile devices, a new mini player for listening and watching audio and video content in Outlook, a new desktop alert. The company also said that downloads of the software will be free. Instead, the firm will charge $24.95 a month for premium support. Previously, Attensa's Outlook based RSS reader was available for purchase only.
