Clustered storage specialist Isilon Systems announced Tuesday that Seismic Exchange Inc. has deployed Isilon's IQ storage system as its central repository for its library of proprietary 3-D seismic data. Isilon said SEI is using Isilon IQ to amalgamate more than 30,000 square miles of 3-D imaging data into a single, seamless pool of information. Financial terms of the win were not announced.
