GalleryPlayer Inks Hotel HD Distribution Deal
Seattle-based GalleryPlayer, a startup developing a service to distribution high definition images for HDTV screens, said Monday that it has inked a partnership with Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd. GalleryPlayer said that Guest-Tek will make its images available to its hotel clients. GalleryPlayer licenses high definition art, photography, and other images for display on HD flat panel displays, and is venture backed by Menlo Ventures. The firm has licensing deals with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Geographic, Time Life, and The New York Times, along with others.
