WatchGuard Names Engineering VP
WatchGuard Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of networking security appliances, reported Monday that it has hired Thom Linden as its vice president of engineering. WatchGuard said Linden, who boasts more than 25 years of engineering architecture and methodology experience, will report directly to company CEO Joe Wang. According to WatchGuard, Linden previously served as vice president of engineering and chief technical officer for Command Audio. He also enjoyed stints with iBiquity Digital, Oracle, Cisco Systems and IBM, WatchGuard said. Founded in 1996, WatchGuard Technologies is a privately owned company headquartered in Seattle.
