Isilon Adds Customer
Isilon Systems, a developer of clustered storage devices and software, announced Tuesday that 3-D digital entertainment specialist 3ality Digital Systems is using Isilon's IQ clustered storage technology to power its live-action 3-D programming. Isilon said its clustered storage helps 3ality to unify, manage and access libraries of complex and high-resolution 3-D programming from a single, scalable and shared pool of storage. Isilon added that 3ality looked to Isilon because 3ality's traditional storage couldn't meet the demand. Isilon Systems is headquartered in Seattle.
