Expedia Inc., operator of travel Web site Expedia.com, reported Wednesday that it has appointed Cyril Ranque as vice president of the company's Partner Services Group, Asia Pacific. Expedia said Ranque, working from the company's Hong Kong offices, will manage partnerships with airlines, hotels and tour operators in the Asia Pacific region. Since joining the company in 2006, Ranque has helped develop partnerships with international hotel chains in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, Expedia added. Headquartered in Bellevue, Wash., Expedia Inc. operates several travel-oriented Web sites, including hotels.com and Expedia.com.
