Microsoft Acquires Sidekick Provider
Microsoft said this morning that it has agreed to acquire Danger, Inc., a provider of software and services behind the popular Sidekick. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Danger develops mobile messaging applications, social networking, web browsing, and other applications. Danger had previously filed for an IPO in December.
