Light Sciences Pulls IPO
Bellevue-based Light Sciences Oncology said in a filing with the SEC Friday that the firm has withdrawn its IPO. According to the firm's filing, the company is requesting a withdrawal of its IPO because of "unfavorable market conditions." Light Sciences had originally filed for an IPO in April of 2006, looking to raise up to $86.25M on the Nasdaq; the firm last raised a round of venture capital worth $30M in July of last year.
