WatchGuard Ramps Up European Operations
Seattle-based network security software publisher WatchGuard Technologies reported Tuesday that it has opened an office in The Hague, The Netherlands. WatchGuard said the new location will serve as corporate headquarters for its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition to its new Dutch digs, WatchGuard said it has expanded its sales, marketing, support and operations staff throughout several European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Sweden, Spain and Austria. WatchGuard also said it has bolstered its European operations with the addition of several new distributorships and about 50 value-added resellers. Founded in 1996, WatchGuard Technologies also maintains offices in Latin America and the Asia Pacific region.
