PopCap Expands In Asia
Seattle-based PopCap Games said Tuesday that the firm has expanded in the Asia/Pacific region, and appointed a new VP in Shanghai. PopCap, which develops casual video games, said that James Gwertzman has been promoted to VP of Asia/Pacific, and will direct its operations from Shanghai. According to PopCap, the firm's Shanghai office will feature a development team including developers, artists, business development executives, and other staffers focused on creating new games specifically for Asia/Pacific consumers.
