Wishpot Names CEO, Acquires Wishlisting.com
Seattle-based Wishpot, an online gift tracking and social shopping service, said Friday morning that Todd Humphrey has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer. Wishpot also said that Humphrey has been named a Venture Partner at Monster Venture Partners, one of the firm's investors. Humphrey joins Wishpot from CleverSet, where he was CEO until it was acquired by ATG in February of this year. Humphrey has also served at Seattle-based Bear Creek Venture PArtners. In conjunction with the appointment, Wishpot also said it has acquired Wishlisting.com, a Seattle-based site providing gift "wish lists." Financial terms of that acquisition were not disclosed.
