Pacific Northwest Firms Raise $294.9M In Q3
Pacific Northwest technology firms raised $294.9M in Q3 of the year, according to a report released over the weekend from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association. The numbers came out as part of the MoneyTree venture capital report, which is based on data from Thomson Reuters. Nationally, venture deals totaled $7.1 billion across 90 deals, down seven percent from Q2 this year. The top industries nationally for investment were Biotech, with $1.35B in deals; Software, with $1.34B, followed by clean technology, with $1.2 billion invested.
