Infospace Hires Former Yahoo VP
InfoSpace Inc. reported Wednesday that Stuart West has joined the company as vice president of corporate development and chief strategy officer. The Bellevue, Wash.-based provider of online search services said West will report to Jim Voelker, InfoSpace's chairman, president and chief executive officer. InfoSpace said West boasts 17 years of experience in various finance and business roles. Most recently, InfoSpace said, he was vice president of operations finance at Yahoo! Inc. Before that, he held several executive positions at TiVo Inc. Additionally, InfoSpace said, West handled business development responsibilities for Silicon Valley-based startups after launching his career with J.P. Morgan & Co.
