Marchex Appoints Former aQuantive CFO to Board
Local search and advertising firm Marchex Inc. reported Tuesday that it has added M. Wayne Wisehart to its board of directors. Wisehart, whose appointment took effect Monday, was most recently chief financial officer for aQuantive, a digital marketing firm that Microsoft acquired in July 2007. Before his 18 months at aQuantive, Wisehart served as CFO at Western Wireless Corp., which Alltel purchased in August 2005. He has also served as CFO for iNNERHOST Inc. and as president and chief executive for Price Communications, Marchex noted. Wisehart also currently sites on the board of directors of EarthLink. Marchex is based in Seattle.
