Amazon Picks Ad Contest Finalists

picked five finalists for the firm's user-generated advertising contest this morning, saying that it will allow users to view and rate the finalists on its
contest web site
until September 6th. Amazon said it is giving $10,000 in an Amazon gift card plus a trip to a film festival in New YOrk City to the winner. Amazon launched the user-generated video contest back in June, through the firm's Withoutabox property, which it acquired in January through IMDB.
