Mentor Graphics Signs Korean Aerospace
Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) tools, disclosed yesterday that it has signed Korea Aerospace Industries, a manufacturer of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, as a customer. Mentor said that Korea Aerospace Industries is using the firm's products to design the electrical wiring system for its newest helicopter. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The aerospace manufacturer is using Mentor's CHS Capital Logic software, CHS electrical simulation, and 3D MCAD integration applications for the wiring schematics for the helicopter.
