Amazon Drops Kindle Pricing By $40, Goes International
Seattle-based Amazon.com told its customers late last night that it has dropped the price of its Kindle electronic reader to $259, down from $299, and is launching the device in international markets. According to Amazon, the Kindle will go on sale in over 100 countries, with the International version selling for $279.00 starting October 19th.
